A financial services firm is looking for a Python/Golang Developer to join their team in New York, NY.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Pay: $79 W2Responsibilities:Hands-on development and design of Python and Golang applicationsEnhance and integrate the CSP automation framework with in-house tooling (Azure initially)Develop tooling & self-service capabilities for Public Cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS) and internal usersIntegrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelinesImprove developer experience by collaborating with client & infrastructure teamInterface with a global team of application developers and infrastructure engineersProduce proof of concepts in new areas of developmentInvestigate production issuesProvide technical support for debugging application failures in production systemsParticipate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment)Qualifications:Required6-8+ years of hands on professional experience using Python, Golang, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript2+ years of experience with globally dispersed teams that fall across different time zonesSolid understanding of object-oriented design and developmentProficient with database technologies (preferably NoSQL) including modeling, testing and performance tuningProficiency in Linux/Unix environmentsExperience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin, GoDog, behave, etc.)Competency with version control systems (git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)Good understanding of Agile & DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Rally)Ability to write reusable, optimized and maintainable code that is well documented and follows industry standard best practicesExcellent communication and presentation skills in a clear and concise manner across different stakeholder groups and knowledge levelsPreferredExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Experience with OPAExperience designing Azure applicationsExperience with Azure PaaS servicesKnowledge of security controls and/or security tooling for the Public cloud
