No installation experience required!!If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.Title: Field Installation Security TechnicianLocation: Hollis, NHPay Rate: $19-$24 (flexibility based on experience)*Shifts: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with some overtime as needed once out of trainingTraining schedule will be standard 40 hours per week. Some OT available once out of training.Must Haves:1 or more years of relevant customer service/installation/IT service experienceCurrent valid State Driver's License and reliable transportationAbility to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites on a daily basis and interpret and design system layout to meet the customer needs.Ability to understand and apply codes, rules, standards, and requirements to meet specifications.Ability to interpret location maps, blueprints and schematic drawings.Must be able to have good communication skills and sell customers on security services.Ability to operate hand and power tools.Plusses:Some technical school training.Prior experience with providing services to electrical systems,Network/WiFi in small homes, wires/cabling in residential locations (CAT5, CAT6, etc.) (If no prior experience, that is ok, you will learn the wiring and cabling during training)Previous sales experienceDay to Day: Insight Global is looking for an Installation Security Technician for a large electronic security client around the Portland, ME region. This tech will, more or less, be responsible for servicing the entire state of Maine. This tech will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving customer loyalty, quality, and overall satisfaction by servicing, programming, configuring, dismantling, reconstructing, converting, and trouble-shooting existing security and site automation solutions including, but not limited to, fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.Drives customer loyalty by exceeding customer's expectations through the system service and maintenance process and meeting customer commitments.Meets customer commitments by arriving within estimated time of arrival.Follows and completes required processes of wired and wireless technology and connection procedures.Tests and validates system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.Demonstrates the operation and functionality of all provided services to the customer by explaining the proper operation of the technology and services.Assists customer with security and technology enhancements by effectively identifying additional areas of opportunities and offers solution enhancements or alternatives to increase customer satisfaction. Suggests innovative and additional solutions to customer to fulfill their security and site automation needs.
