Salary: $120,000 - $125,000/yr.EMCS / BMS Manager job summary:The project is approximately 3 million square feet of space with more than 200 buildings on campus.Effectively develop and implement programs, practices, and procedures to ensure the EMCS is operating optimally and meeting all JPL specifications/requirements. Additionally, be responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the site wide EMCS, including but not limited to the system hardware, software, and security problem tickets.Responsibilities: and performing diagnostic troubleshooting of program issues associated with Niagara AX / N4, Tridium platform and Distech controls.technicians perform day-to-day troubleshooting of system disturbances and corrections of Energy Management Control System (EMCS) related trouble calls and alarms.with the Maintenance Managers and HVAC crafts to solve HVAC/Mechanical issues utilizing EMCS. technicians analyze and uploads security patches when available and required by JPL.daily and weekly reports to ensure system alarm management, configurations are meeting JPL contract requirements.all JPL requirements associated with company's operational plans and procedures and signoffs on project acceptance, testing, and project close out documents.all preventive maintenance was completed on-time and in accordance with the JPL TDD that all upgrades/repairs are properly implemented and documented.that all console alarms are acknowledged and addresses in accordance with all JPL contract requirements.for and facilitates the weekly JPL / EGS EMCS meeting.and report out deficiencies or anomalies noted within the EMCS system.effective communications with the EGS team and JPL customers.reports when requested and makes system configurations when requested for the completion of all EMCS assigned RCAs and corrective actions with the MRO group to specify, provide vendor quotes, and information for material and components requested.awareness of new and emerging EMCS technologies.all other duties as assigned to meet customer critical missions.Qualifications:Prefered but not required - bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, and or similar technology degree such as Building / Process.EMCS Manager must have hands-on HVAC / Controls experience which includes performing troubleshooting and repairs. 10 years of experience as an engineer, or supervisor or manager within a BMS / BAS and or EMCS environment preferably with 5 or more years of experience with Niagara N4, Distech, and BACnet. in Niagara N4, TCP and Distech 6000 are required.have the ability to resolve complex EMCS issues that require analysis, evaluation, and interpretation.understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.of maintenance practices, procedures, work methods, materials, equipment, and tools to operate and maintain the system.have knowledge of computer office operations and work order applications, such as Maximo and Microsoft Office Suite.interpersonal skills and good customer service skills.have the ability to multi-task, be organized, pay attention to detail, be dependable, and be a team player.to work alternate schedules as necessary.to read and write in the English language.CA driver's license.We value you and are confident in the shared future success we hold together.
