They thrive both in collaborative team environments and working independently.This role involves managing intricate audits, encompassing thorough planning, on-site fieldwork management, meticulous review of workpapers, drafting and reviewing audit issues and reports. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee Senior Auditors, contribute to ad-hoc projects, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team of Auditors in conducting internal IT control audits across the company.Provide oversight over SOX 404, SSAE16 SOC1 and 2, and other relevant testing.Gain insights into operational processes, identifying key controls and risks.Identify deficiencies in documentation, research issues, and recommend policy or procedure improvements.Review flowcharts, narratives, and reports to document processes and controls accurately.Ensure the production of high-quality audit reports.Conduct final review and sign-off of work papers across concurrent audits, ensuring comprehensive coverage.Communicate effectively with IT Management regarding audit project status.Cultivate strong management relationships locally, divisionally, and intra-departmentally.Drive feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.Identify and oversee ad-hoc reviews/projects as needed.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 10 years of IT auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; recent experience at a big 4 audit firm is a plus.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) required; additional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or similar highly desired.Experience managing complex audits from planning to completion, including review of workpapers, issuing audit reports, and understanding Sarbanes-Oxley and SOC1/SOC2 requirements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.Demonstrated integrity, credibility, and professionalism.Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing audit teams effectively and delivering results.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and professional skepticism.
