Position: IT Technician - PERM - Highland Park, MIDuration: Full-TimePay Rate: $27-$32/hr (eligible for OT) + shift premium Shift/hours: 4-day weeks @ 40 hours/week - Sunday is DT/will work later shift but hours vary Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Qualifications:Experience as an IT Technician or in a similar roleKnowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking conceptsProficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.Ability to retrieve data from a database using basic SQL commands (SELECT statements) including filtering, sorting, and limiting resultsExperience/Familiar with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, group policy, and other network protocolsPluses:Prior experience working in a manufacturing environmentCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)Knowledge of automotive-specific software applications and systems.Experience with MES systemsDay to Day:The IT Technician will join our automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit Area. This individual will join the team responsible for providing technical support to end-users for both hardware and software, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems, within the company's manufacturing plant. As the IT Technician, you will install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals as well as troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. You will also monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security. You will also document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing, and collaborate with other IT Team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures. Compensation:Annual Salary Range: $56,160 - $66,500 Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
