Job Description

Our client is a leading company in the retail and consumer goods space. They are looking for a OMS Engineer to join their team. This role requires deep expertise in eCommerce systems and back-end integrations, providing the technical backbone for their sophisticated commerce operations. The successful candidate will engage in both hands-on development and collaborative planning sessions, contributing to our platform's growth and efficiency.Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Key Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with other developers, particularly in training and refining our use of Salesforce OMS.Design and implement core functional flows within our eCommerce platforms, ensuring efficient order processing and fulfillment across multiple warehouses.Develop and maintain integrations with various ERP systems and manage complex business flows critical to eCommerce operations.Enhance system capabilities to support cross-border selling and integration with third-party sales channels, particularly during high-volume periods such as flash sales.Drive innovation in the OMS by building new functionalities and pushing the system beyond its current capabilities.Maintain a focus on backend development (90% of the time), with minimal but impactful participation in strategy and planning meetings (10% of the time).Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven expertise in eCommerce, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Magento and other eCommerce platforms.Proficiency in Salesforce applications; SFCC experience highly regarded.Strong experience in backend programming languages such as Apex, Node.js, PHP, and Python.Extensive knowledge of API integrations (SOAP, REST).Ability to work with complex business flows and a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape from a technical perspective.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on challenging projects.Experience in warehouse management systems and understanding of ERP integrations.This role is HYBRID in California or Seattle.
