North Dakota State Hospital - Licensed Practical Nurse Sign on Bonus Available! Pay rate starting at $22.00 per hour Part - Time 8 to 10 hour shifts available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse II, you will deliver quality nursing care to the clients of the North Dakota State Hospital by administering medications and treatment and providing medication lessons to clients. On a daily basis, you will identify clients' needs through interviewing and observation and assess the clients to ensure they are receiving the appropriate level of care. You will transcribe physicians' orders, complete requisitions on all medications, and provide medication education to clients. You will also participate in the development, implementation, and revision of nursing care plans and complete all necessary documentation. You will also investigate and assess clients' complaints and follow through appropriately as well as delegate responsibilities to Direct Care Associates. You will thrive in this position, if you are able to communicate both effectively and considerately, and you have a desire to assist and support others. The ND State Hospital delivers quality nursing care to all clients in accordance with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Practice Standards developed by the American Nurses Association. To be considered for this position, you must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (or registration in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in ND) and have two years of work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
